This product is a representation of the first N&W SD40-2 order from EMD that featured a high hood. Now in the hands of Norfolk Southern. TRAINZ 2019 and TRAINZ 2022 PRODUCT ONLY. Does NOT work in TANE.

By far my most favorite SD40-2 unit ever made. Great looking super detailed hsh SD40-2 unit this is Love it so much words can’t explain it. I really Love the fact when you power up with throttle that you actually feel the engine loading up its power before it starts to loadout Locomotive sounds are Top Notch great sounding. only small gripe is that it’s missing a custom cab interior which is a easy fix, but it would have been better, hopefully maybe in the future we can get and updated cab for these units making the circle complete.

Although I prefer a high hood without RCL equipment, it’s a great model. Would love to get some ex Southern high hood SD40-2s.
