The Head End Power hornsound is intended for passenger service trains. H.E.P. is a separate motor used to power air conditioning, lighting and other luxury features within the passenger cars. The recording is off of an MBTA GP40MC, though sounds similar to HEP motors used on MBTA and Amtrak F40PHs. Will work well with any passenger train service locomotive.
